A tour of the Lido and it's Grande Hotels like Les Bains and The Excelsior were of interest to me. I loved the history and lore of the wealthy and famous spending summers there. I was disappointed to see in the reviews that Les Bains (where Death In Venice film was shot) had fallen into ruin and was no longer open.
